Terms and conditions of sale
These terms govern your purchase of goods from towellingtotes.co.uk. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. About us
Towelling Totes Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17288840, registered office Dana House, Spinneys Lane, Ferndown, Dorset, BH22 9BZ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at daisy@towellingtotes.co.uk.
2. How a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We will send an acknowledgement email when you order, but this is not acceptance. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot supply an item we will tell you and refund any payment taken for it in full.
3. Our products
Our bags are made in small batches from towelling fabric. Images are photographed as accurately as we can manage, but colours can vary slightly between screens and between production runs, and slight variation in the pile and stitching is a normal characteristic of the fabric rather than a fault.
Because runs are limited, a colour or size may sell out and not return.
4. Price and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are those shown on the product page at the time you order. VAT is charged where applicable and any VAT will be shown at checkout. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay.
If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch we will contact you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not simply process the order at the wrong price.
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
5. Delivery
See our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Goods become your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Your right to cancel, and faulty goods
You have a legal right to cancel most online orders within 14 days without giving a reason, and separate rights if goods are faulty or not as described. Both are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you and either extend the delivery time or let you cancel for a full refund.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in those courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
10. Complaints
Email daisy@towellingtotes.co.uk and we will try to resolve matters directly. If we cannot, you may be able to use the Online Dispute Resolution options available to UK consumers.
